Stonechat a semi-detached beach cottage is situated in a quiet valley, 30 yards from the beach at Polzeath, ideally situated for surfing and other beach activity.Stonechat sleeps four plus a baby and has one double and one twin bedroom.

Also nearby is golf, walking, sailing, fishing, all sorts, and a wealth of good quality attractions and historic houses and gardens. The Cottage is set in a lane just off Polzeath beach, leading to the medieval Shilla Mill. Beyond the mill there are footpaths to Trebetherick, Trevanger and Roserrow, where the golf course is. New for 2008/2009 storm and beach watching arbour on decking to view beach in garden which is filled with lots of plants shrubs birds and local wildlife which the owners encourage.

On the opposite side of the valley are Shilla Mill Woods, ancient woodlands which are designated as being of outstanding local significance and which are referred to in several of Sir John Betjeman's poems.

Eden Project half hours drive .The area is known for an abundance of excellent public houses and eateries including Rick Steins famous Restaurant and Bistro in Padstow just half hours drive or one hours walk and water taxi.
